Attention: Before any download or gift certificate purchase please ensure your email address is working. Purchases will only be issued to the email address given at time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated in product description, all our digital download sales are final, and for a very good reason please read below.

We strive to make all sales an enjoyable online purchase at Alou. It is with regret due to software scammers Alou Web Design has a strict policy on all downloadable product sales. This policy has only been adopted because absolutely necessary. Our system was open to abuse by people downloading and keeping a product, and then demanding a refund while still using the product & the rights associated with the product.
There has been a very high rate of refunds due to software theft. A glut of orders have been placed for downloadable software then requesting a full refund. We have no way of checking if they actually delete the product from their PC or not.
Each time Alou issues a refund it costs us money. We are a real business with real employees and real costs. If we keep giving money away we will no longer be able to operate.
Downloadable Products
All Sales are final. No refunds will be given for software that is delivered via download from the Internet. Exchanges only will be given for sales via download.
Defective products will be replaced with same working product. If there is a problem with one of the digital download products or if you experience any difficulty with its download, Alou Web Design will gladly fix the problem. If we cannot fix the the software you will be given the choice of an exchange or a 100% complete refund. Refunds are only issued to the same email address & account they wre originally purchased with.
Products on CD-Rom
All Sales are final. Return of product may only be made for defective products. Defective products will be gladly replaced. Under no circumstances may a product be returned for full credit. Because of our inability to monitor the removal of registration codes given out or the removal of the software from buyers computer we cannot consider any refunds only replacements after the product is shipped.
All cd's are manually tested & verified before being shipped out.
Products may be returned for replacement in the following manner:
Returns to Alou Web Design must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. After 30 days, no returns will be allowed or accepted. Before returning any item, you must contact our Returns Department for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). No returns, of any type, will be accepted without an RMA number. The RMA number is good for only one (1) item and must match the product authorized for return. Defective software may be returned for exchange with the same product only. All items must be in "as-new" condition. The RMA number visible on the package. Any discrepancies could result in a delay of your exchange. If part of a product becomes defective, the full product must be returned for replacement. All returns must be properly packaged to prevent damage.
